Propak Africa is the largest industry exhibition on the continent with four exhibitions around Africa comprising Propak Africa which takes place in Johannesburg, Propak West Africa which takes place in Nigeria, Propak Cape which takes place in Cape Town and Propak East Africa which takes place in Kenya. Propak East Africa includes the co-located shows – FoodPro, ProPlas, ProPharma and Print Expo. Following on from the successful association between The GAPP Magazine and the organisers of Propak Africa, Montgomery Eco has entered into a similar arrangement which will see the print show being renamed The GAPP Print Expo East Africa. Montgomery currently runs over 60 events around the world and brings extensive knowledge of exhibition organisation to the East African market. The GAPP Magazine is a specialist trade publication serving all aspects of the printing, packaging and signage industries with a specific focus on the print elements associated with these sectors. Propak East Africa is held every two years with the next event taking place at The Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi from 7 – 9 March 2017. The last staging in 2015 attracted a total of 90 international exhibitors who presented and showcased their products at the event which was attended by more than 2200 visitors from 38 countries throughout Africa and the rest of the world. Many of these exhibitors expressed how successful they felt the show had been for them.
