Mimaki has reported a successful exhibit at Viscom Dusseldorf with a focus on high quality printing and finishing solutions for the sign and display graphics market. Mimaki was also recognised with two prestigious awards during the show.

Mimaki received the VISCOM BEST of 2013 AWARD in the Signmaking category for its CG-SRIII Series of Cutting Plotters. This compact, reliable piece of equipment has been enhanced with a variety of new developments including a cutting pressure of 500 grams, a doubled curved-cutting speed, continuous intermediate crop mark detection with a maximum of four crop marks and remote monitoring. Mimaki also received the BEST of 2013 AWARD in the Large Format Printing category for its Latex Ink LX101 for the JV400LX printer. The company introduced the world’s first white latex ink in 2013, bringing to sign and display graphics operations the ability to digitally produce vivid colour printing results on transparent substrates.
