Felix Schoeller’s SLP papers now fully certified for HP Latex machines

The STYLine non-woven wallpapers were showcased for their versatility and compatibility.

The Osnabrück-based Felix Schoeller Group’s Digital Media Business Unit has announced the successful certification for all HP machines. The SLP papers had already been certified a year ago but now the extension of that to HP’s current 500 and 1500 series completes the picture. It means that print service providers can download the profiles they need to achieve excellent print results, including for the new HP machines.

Felix Schoeller’s SLP series is a unique, paper-based solution for all print service providers who want to create excellent visual highlights for their customers in outdoor applications. The solvent and latex poster papers (SLP) were specially developed for digitally printed signage and poster products. Their special back coat (heat barrier layer) makes it possible not only to print on all common solvent and latex systems but also permits problem-free printing on HP Latex machines in the new 500 and 1500 series. SLP papers are suitable not only for outdoor but also for indoor applications, the main ones being POS signs, exhibition graphics and posters – to mention just a few. The four papers are available in grammages from 140 to 200gsm with a glossy or satin finish.

The print profiles provided for all HP machines guarantee excellent and stable results. Stefanie Liensdorf, product manager for sign & display graphics with the Felix Schoeller Group, said the customer response at FESPA was very positive, ‘Customers were very interested in our SLP papers and in the fact that they are now certified for the entire range of HP latex systems.’

For the Felix Schoeller Group, FESPA 2018 was all about breadth of applications and it demonstrated this on a range of digital printing systems and numerous materials. Trade visitors were very taken with the STYLine non-woven wallpapers printed on various digital printing systems. The S-RACE brand sublimation papers also impressed customers with their unique quality and versatility.

A special guest, who introduced himself to customers and visitors, was Eric Frenzel, multiple Olympic champion in Nordic Combined. His visit was connected with the Felix Schoeller Group’s Olympic commitment. The company supports Team Germany at the Olympics as official premium paper partner.
