Over 350+ packaging representatives to gather at Sustainability in Packaging Europe 2021

Sustainability in Packaging Europe 2021 has transitioned to a hybrid event and will be returning to Barcelona with the option to also attend online through live streaming, next month across the 3-4 November 2021.

Recognised within the industry as the must-attend European conference to drive sustainable practices for packaging and a circular economy, the community continues to grow two-fold with current attendees totalling over 350, including Zalando, L’Oreal, Mars, Barilla, PepsiCo, Unilver, Bostik, Canon, Mondelez, Tetra Pak, ExxonMobil and Bosch to name a few. The conference has been praised for its content, key influencer discussions and a primary benchmark for the packaging supply chain.

Two dynamic keynotes will open next month’s conference; hear from Mattia Pellegrini, Head of Unit Presso from the European Commission as he talks more about “A European Green Deal” – a key directive to overcome the ever increasing challenges of climate change and environmental degradation. Ellen MacArthur Foundation will take the podium next and will provide key insights on what initiatives are needed within the packaging industry to transform the economy.

Sessions across day one also tackle how brands meet targets and the impact of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive, in addition to insights on reusable packaging models, recycled content, delivering sustainability as a brand, presented by Mars, H&M Group, P&G, Beauty Kitchen, Diageo, Kellogg Europe, Huhtamaki and many more.

Plus, attendees gain access to interchangeable tracks on day two, panels, roundtables, case studies, exhibition hall, five networking breaks and a drinks reception at the end of day one.
